Action Plan

For my action plan, I am going to create a Gantt Chart. This would allow me to illustrate my projects schedule. This would allow me to give myself enough time for each element or task, with a start and finishing date.

Dementors in Harry Potter

The "Dementors" in the film "Harry Potter" gave me an excellent idea, the character would fit inside the opening scene. They are considered to be a dark creatures, that feed on humans. The costume would also be very similar to the Dementor in the clip above.

The "unknown monster" is one of the main roles in film, as it would bring in the horror and intense. The group has discussed that the "unknown monster" would expand on the characteristics on the characteristics of the "Dementors" from the Harry Potter film.

Talking About The Images Taken

Yesterday, I went to the Church on Cowley Road in Oxford, and took a variety of images of the different scenes which may be included in our beginning scene of our film. We took a few images of the main road, which was quite busy, with cars and people walking up and down. I then took variety shots of the graveyard, which different view shots.

As I took the images, I came across a few problems, for example people walking their dogs and  few people smoking inside the graveyard. This made it harder to take the images. The weather was very cold as the snow and frost has settled a slightly.

Overall the images that I have taken are excellent! Seeing that this gives our group an idea where we would want to shoot the beginning scene of the video.

Possible Location Setting

Outside the church would be a great place for the scene of the main character walking along the footpath, as is not too far from the church, and makes the video set more realistic, as the view would include cars and may be a few pedestrians, which should not be a problem.

Here is the entrance of the Church, which would include the scene of the main character walking into the graveyard. The main character would be isolated with graves and trees. This effect would make the chasracter much lower and a indication of something to go wrong.

 

In this scene, the the main character starts to run in fear, with confusion, and does not know where he is going to end.

At this point, the scene would include the main character is attacked by the monsterous creature.
The main chatacter then runs to the stepped pillar made out of stone, and fades into the the " The Graveyard Massacre".
